Lady Liberty

Do you see the city's sickness my son?

Crowding each of us in mass array

Decorating us in confusion

Running from the night you say.

On the streets we discovered fear

The sound of society's afflictions

On the streets we can hear

Where we died a little of addictions.

I hear the Southern pacific Railway nearby

Lights are flashing, a taxi is rolling

Deep in the night comes a strangled cry

Now the sounds of railroads are fading.

Did law and order break down today

Whatever happened to Lady Liberty?
